Welcome to DEMOCRITIC Project!
DEMOCRTIC is a long term project that aims at promoting youth active citizenship and boosting young people’s involvement in the democratic process at local, regional and European level.
It is granted by Youth in Action Programme in the frame of the action 1.3: Youth Democracy Projects.
The seminars aim at developing competences of active citizenship and youth participation and promoting democratic values.
All the the training courses will present a common structure and go through with a similar activity programme. Nevertheless each seminar will deal with a specific topic.
In particular, this first event – held in Zarautz (Bask Country)- will focus on knocking down cultural barriers and stimulating intercultural dialogue. The event in Krakow will be centred on East- West- Dialogue and the last TC, hosted in Naples, will deal with the struggle against organized crime and how to make you voice heard and with how to make your voice heard
Training sessions will be based on non formal education and inter-cultural learning and the activity programme will include round tables, group discussions and workshops about:

Moreover, the participants will have the chance to prepare a real strategy to encourage youth participation and to try it in the real world (practical activity “on the ground”)
